Open Mind Warning: I just want to make it clear that I do not endorse or present these theories as fact, merely as interesting counter theories to what might have happened that day. There is compelling, if not damning, factual evidence that cannot be ignored and to my knowledge has not been fully refuted.

I simply suggest we should ask these questions despite some, distinct and unjustified, resistance to doing so by the mainstream media. The reason for this necessity should be clear: If it was true that any foreknowledge or direct planning of these attacks was taken on by our government it would be by far the worst case of treason in the history of the world.

And though certainly highly unlikely these theories have not been proven to be categorically false.

This is a very well produced documentary of September 11th offering the best conspiracy type theory for what happened on that day. It thoroughly rebuts many of the core assumptions of that day. Oddly these are still widely regarded as “kook” theories.

Rebuilding America’s Defenses.

Document detailing the strategy for restoring American military power throughout the country. Members of the think tank include elite members of what would be called the Neo-Conservative movement that took power in the election of that year. Among them Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz and Senior Vice Presidential Advisor to Dick Cheney, I. Lewis Libby.

This document is a document produced prior to September 11th, but suggests that any major shift in rebuilding the foreign policy would require a “pearl harbor” like attack. Produced 12 months before the September 11th attacks:
