A Little Glowing, as Well We Should
It is a monumental moment you will witness only once in the lifetime of this country. Thursday night August 28th 2008, 45 years to the day after Martin Luther King discussed his dream of reaching the mountain top, Barack Obama accepted the nomination of the Democratic Party to become [...]
Here we are, it is Thursday August 28th and we await the nomination day of the Democratic Party naming Barack Obama the first African American major party candidate for President of the United States. Hurricane Gustav is reported to have a likely chance of strengthening over the Gulf of Mexico in the next week and has a possibility of directly hitting the nearly recovered Gulf Coast once again, and possibly with more strength.
The storm is currently crossing over Haiti and is classified at the moment as a tropical storm.

The children are our future. Never was a truer phrase uttered. It has become a cliché, something teary women say to each other. Won’t somebody please think of the children!? The fact is, you and I will grow old, and then the kids that are being educated right now, are going to be in charge of the businesses, the schools, the churches, the next wave of progeny. It is, therefore, no surprise that our politics be changed by [...]
So you’re telling me I’ve been poor this whole time!?
McCain defines being rich as making $5 Million in income a year. WOW.
I thought I was born into a middle class family that quickly made it’s way to üpper middle class status by the time I hit the first grade, but alas…It seems that my [...]
It’s a strongly held belief of mine that new media technology will change the face of the world at a pace far too fast for any oppressive regime to stop. Our ability to communicate perspectives and ideas in today’s world is bringing out many voices that have never been heard and sending them far across [...]
The McCain campaign was sending out a message yesterday on YouTube with a video that is now not publicly accessible. As Jake Tapper reports on the ABC News blog “Political Punch” the McCain campaign sent out a video showing a large number of adoring supporters of Sen. Barack Obama, a large number of whom are [...]
